Goldsboro’s Khadijah Bryant Named East Head Coach for 2027 NCCA East-West All-Star Game

GOLDSBORO — Goldsboro girls basketball head coach Khadijah Bryant has been selected as the East head coach for the 2027 North Carolina Coaches Association East-West All-Star Game.

The NCCA announced its 2027 All-Star coaching staffs Tuesday. Bryant will coach the East team in the girls basketball game on July 20, 2027, at the Novant Health Fieldhouse inside the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. The girls game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

Bryant earns the honor after leading Goldsboro to a 28-2 record and the 2025-26 NCHSAA 3A state championship.

Lumberton’s Ivy Johnson will serve as the East assistant coach. Carey Pohlman of Cramer will coach the West team, while Amanda Whitaker of A.C. Reynolds will be the West assistant.

The NCCA also announced coaching staffs for the East-West football and soccer games, along with the Carolinas’ Classic basketball games between North Carolina and South Carolina.
