Goldsboro Girls Basketball State Championship Ring Ceremony Postponed to Aug. 4

Goldsboro High School has postponed its girls basketball state championship ring ceremony until Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 7 p.m.

The ceremony will celebrate the Cougars’ historic 2025-26 season. Goldsboro finished 28-2 and defeated East Surry 54-46 to capture the NCHSAA 3A state championship.

The Cougars will receive their championship rings during the rescheduled celebration. Goldsboro High School thanked supporters for their understanding and invited Cougar Nation to attend.
